Therapy for Young Adults in Colorado
Navigate life’s transitions with clarity, confidence, and connection.
Who am I? What do I want? Where do I belong?
The transition into adulthood is full of questions—some exciting, some overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating career decisions, relationships, family dynamics, or your sense of identity, this time of life can feel both full of possibility and riddled with uncertainty. You may feel pulled between who you’ve always been and who you’re becoming. You may sense pressure—from society, family, or even yourself—to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to navigate this alone.
I offer therapy for young adults (ages 18-30) who are seeking greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and meaningful relationships. My approach is relational, experiential, and rooted in attachment and human development—helping you explore the patterns, beliefs, and nervous system responses that have shaped you while supporting your growth into who you truly are.
Therapy can help you pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
Why Therapy Can Be Especially Helpful for Young Adults
This stage of life is filled with transitions—starting college, changing careers, forming or ending relationships, exploring who you are outside of your family, and trying to make sense of your values and beliefs. It’s common to experience:
Anxiety or overwhelm about the future
Pressure to succeed or “have it all figured out”
Loneliness or disconnection in relationships
Low self-worth or imposter syndrome
Perfectionism and people-pleasing
Identity exploration, including gender, sexuality, and spirituality
Working with a therapist can give you the space to explore all of this with curiosity and without judgment. Together, we can help you build a more grounded, resilient, and authentic life.
My Approach to Working with Young Adults
Therapy with me isn’t just about talking—it’s about experiencing, exploring, and reconnecting with your deepest self. I integrate equine-assisted therapy, ecotherapy, Gestalt therapy, somatic work, and mindfulness to support healing that goes beyond the mind. For some, this means working with horses, stepping into nature, or practicing nervous system regulation through movement and breath. For others, it’s deepening self-awareness through relational work, attachment exploration, or online therapy.
No matter where we meet—in nature, in the presence of horses, or virtually—we’ll create a space where you can slow down, listen to yourself, and step into a life that feels more aligned and authentic.

What We Can Explore Together
Discovering who you are outside of others’ expectations
Navigating family dynamics and boundaries
Understanding and healing attachment patterns
Managing anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
Building confidence, self-trust, and clarity
Exploring your spirituality, purpose, or connection to something bigger
Reconnecting with your body and inner knowing
Whether you’re navigating your first job, dealing with the end of a relationship, questioning your beliefs, or feeling pressure to perform, therapy can support you in moving through it all with more ease and intention.
Nature-Based and Experiential Therapy for Young Adults
In addition to traditional and somatic therapy approaches, I also offer nature-based and experiential therapy for young adults who feel called to explore healing in connection with the natural world. These sessions can take place outdoors—walking, sitting, or engaging with the elements in ways that support nervous system regulation and deeper self-awareness.
Nature has a unique ability to slow us down and return us to what’s essential. Whether it's noticing seasonal changes, grounding through your senses, or experiencing movement in an embodied way, working in nature can offer powerful metaphors for growth, change, and belonging.
Experiential therapy might also include guided mindfulness, body-based practices, creative expression, or relational activities that go beyond talking. These approaches support you in not just thinking about change—but truly experiencing it in your body, emotions, and relationships.
You don’t need to be outdoorsy or have any prior experience—just a willingness to be curious. If you feel drawn to reconnecting with the natural world or want to explore healing beyond four walls, we can incorporate these elements into our work together.
Support That Meets You Where You’re At
Whether you're just starting your adult life or finding your way in your late 20s or early 30s, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Therapy can be a place to breathe, reflect, and take empowered steps toward a more connected, intentional life.
