Spirituality & Soul Work in Durango, CO

What is Spirituality & Soul Work?

Spirituality and soul work invite you into a deeper conversation with yourself, your life, and the world around you. It’s about exploring who you are beyond roles, expectations, and surface-level identity—tapping into your inner wisdom, your values, your sense of belonging, and your unique place within the web of life.

This work is not tied to any specific religion or belief system. Instead, it honors your individual path—whether you’re deepening your connection to spirit, exploring your relationship with the earth, or simply longing to feel more rooted in meaning and purpose.

An Eco-Spiritual Approach

My approach to spirituality and soul work is deeply informed by nature and the living world. When we step outside, we remember: we are not separate. Our souls are shaped by the land we walk, the rivers we sit beside, and the more-than-human beings we encounter.

Through this eco-spiritual lens, we’ll explore your relationship with nature as a mirror, teacher, and companion. We may draw on practices that honor the Wheel of the Year—the seasonal shifts that have guided human rhythms for centuries. By aligning your inner work with nature’s cycles, you’ll begin to sense how your personal seasons mirror the earth’s natural wisdom.

Together, we’ll ask:

  • What inner seeds want to be planted?

  • What needs to be composted or released?

  • How can you honor times of stillness and rest, just as the earth does?

  • What can you learn from the wild intelligence of nature’s constant transformation?

Jungian Themes & The Soul’s Journey

In addition to nature-based wisdom, this work may also draw on Jungian psychology—exploring your inner archetypes, symbols, dreams, and myths. Jung believed that symptoms and struggles often carry soul-level messages—invitations to explore parts of yourself that have been exiled, hidden, or forgotten.

Together, we might work with:

  • Dream tending to uncover messages from your unconscious

  • Myth and story as mirrors for your life’s journey

  • Exploring your shadow—the parts of yourself you’ve been taught to hide

  • Reclaiming the parts of you that long to belong to yourself again

Why Soul Work Matters

In a fast-paced, achievement-driven world, it’s easy to lose touch with your inner voice—the one that knows what feels true, alive, and aligned. Soul work helps you slow down, tune in, and begin to trust your inner knowing.

This process might include:

  • Exploring life transitions through a soul-centered lens

  • Healing from spiritual disconnection or questioning long-held beliefs

  • Deepening your sense of purpose and meaning

  • Reconnecting to your ancestral and earth-based roots

  • Remembering that you belong to the earth, not just to productivity and performance

What Spirituality & Soul Work Sessions May Look Like

Every session is different, depending on your needs and intentions. Together, we may explore:

  • Mindfulness & present-moment awareness

  • Ritual & ceremony to mark life transitions or honor inner work

  • Journaling, creative expression, or dream work

  • Eco-spiritual practices like working with nature as guide, mirror, and ally

  • Somatic awareness to sense what your body and soul are longing for

  • Exploring your beliefs, values, and sense of spiritual identity

  • Working with the Wheel of the Year to honor seasonal changes in your life and psyche

Whether you come seeking clarity in a transition, healing after religious wounding, or simply longing for a deeper connection to something greater, our work will be a space to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.

The word psychotherapy consists of two Greek words: psyche (soul) and therapy (care). By definition, psychotherapy is care of the soul. When you serve your soul, you are being therapeutic in this deep, Platonic sense.
